Wonderful tribute Kerry. I always enjoyed his whimsical and often poignant words and pictures -- encountered on his calendars in so homes, and on the back of toilet doors xxx

Oh Kerry, what a beautiful tribute to a very special human being...and your friend. I'm so sorry for your loss, but so grateful for your stories about Leunig, and the many examples of his humble grateful living. And I have to say that I want to give that student of yours a big hug for so sweetly (and competently) coming to your rescue with such grace, humor, and understanding. You taught him well!

Thank you Margaret. Yes, wasn't that student wonderful. I treasure the relationship I had with so many of my students over the years, where we all learned how to be human and vulnerable together - especially as they prepared to get ready for the very tender craft of teaching.
